Who we work with

Trauma therapy, across the ages that it shows up.

One through-line — trauma and attachment — applied to the specific person in the room. Toddlers who hit and bite. Kids who can't sleep. Adults still carrying what happened before they could put words to it.

Ages 2–12

Children

Play therapy and trauma-informed work for the youngest clients. PCIT-trained when the issue is how parent and child get along.

Kids don't outgrow what hurt them. Neither do adults. Therapy makes room for the whole of it — and teaches the nervous system that the hurt part is not the only part. — Mallory Garcia, LMFT

About the practice

Small, careful, and not precious about it.

Lemon & Leaves is run by Mallory Garcia, LMFT. Ten years of trauma work, PCIT-trained, based in the Inland Empire with telehealth across California.

The practice takes IEHP and major insurance without apologizing. We think therapy should be available to the families that actually need it — not just the ones who can afford to pay out of pocket.

What to expect

Three steps, not a maze.

01

A short call, free.

Fifteen minutes. You tell us what's going on. We tell you whether we're a fit — and if not, who might be.

02

First session.

We meet. Intake questions, a look at history, no couch-with-a-notebook stereotype unless you want that.

03

Begin.

Weekly, usually. The work takes time. We'll tell you honestly how long we think we'll need.

Ready when you are

A steady place to land is one call away.

No forms to fight through first. Call, email, or request a consult on the form — whichever feels easiest.
